Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco!

We just recently merged with Habitat for Humanity San Francisco on August 1, 2008 to become the newly merged Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco!  Habitat Greater San Francisco is currently building an eight home development in Redwood City, on Lincoln Avenue.  This new deevlopment includes seven three-bedroom units and one two-bedroom, wheelchair-accessible unit, all with two-car garages. Each home employs “green” building practices and will integrate solar electric panels on the roof to generate renewable electric energy.

We invite all volunteers, regardless of construction experience, to participate in a build day at our site.  We build on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and request full-day participation from 8:30am to 4:15pm.  We must require that all of our volunteers be 16 years or older and if you are 16 or 17 years old, we do ask that an adult guardian accompany you on your build day.  We will provide all the training and tools you will need during the day on site and we only ask that you come out with the energy to help.  Basically, we want you to HAVE FUN!
